Way back in the spring I went on a delightful walking tour of Yerba Buena alleyways hosted by
Artadia. It was lead by Dorka Keehn, co-founder of
Sites Unseen, and featured several public artworks that organization has put into place. The always utterly delightful artist (and, full disclosure, author of mine, and pal) Leah Rosenberg joined us to discuss her piece
Local Color; we toured the various
Barry McGee murals at the Moscone Center Garage; and got to enjoy Hank Willis Thomas' neon installation
Love Over Rules just as dusk was gathering. One could easily make this walk all by one's own self, and I'd highly recommend doing so.
