I had the delight and honor to sign books with fellow-author (whose book I happen to have edited) and fellow-Bridget, Bridget Quinn at the de Young Museum the other night. We spotted our books, Broad Strokes and How Art Can Make You Happy, in the museum bookshop (which is quite a thrill in itself), then got to hang out with various folks who stopped by -- including the very first person of the evening to buy a book, who turned out also to be named Bridget (what are the odds?!), and my own dear Bill and Mabel who showed off what they made in the kids crafting area (a better picture of Mabel's creation, the Legendary Clawed Mouth, can be seen here). It was great fun.
