Kenyatta A. C. Hinkle at SFMOMA

I always enjoy the biannual SECA Award show at SFMOMA. In the museum's words "the award distinguishes Bay Area artists whose work, at the time of nomination, has not received substantial recognition from a major institution" -- so you always discover artists you had not known about before. Of the three or four or five artists honored, I usually find that there's one whose work I'm particularly drawn to. This year, for me, that's Kenyatta A. C. Hinkle. Take a look and I think you'll see why. Just, wow.
