Anna Hoyle's book paintings are freaking hilarious. The time I saw "My Clothes Hate Me: The Collar is Sharp" I actually guffawed out loud. It's not just that the text content is wry and weird and wonderful, or that the faux fifties book aesthetic is so spot on -- it's some alchemical marriage of those two things adding up to more than the sum of their parts. And now you can laugh along too.
