Our kitchen is very small and kind of dark (though nevertheless we love cooking in it) but somehow photographer Esteban Cortez made images of it that look the way it feels emotionally -- cozy, bright, welcoming -- rather than how it usually registers optically (to a typical iphone camera, for instance).
