I talked last week about how we went to Bill's hometown of Raleigh over spring break to remember his mother, who died this past winter. And it occurred to me that it would also be good to remember her here as well. She was a fierce, passionate, and deeply loving woman. We miss her like hell. I've rustled up a few photos--above, one of her in her youth, and below in various stages of grandmotherhood.
