Hard to believe it was just over a month ago that I hauled the polaroid camera to a foggy backyard in the Outer Sunset for a farewell party for Mabel's preschool class. So much has changed and happened in the intervening few weeks with the launch into kindergarten that this already looks to me like some far-off distant epoch (polaroid photos are, of course, especially good at conferring that instantly historical vibe upon even quite recent images).
