Mabel loves museums. When they're not crowded she enjoys looking at the pictures and making high-pitched cooing sounds that echo particularly well in the galleries. When they are crowded she likes to watch the people. Full disclosure: I did not take this picture. Rather, my husband Bill did on a day he had off work when he and Mabel took a jaunt out to San Francisco's foggiest Museum, the Legion of Honor. But her smile is so fantastic, and it reminds me so much of all our great Rome Polaroids, that I could not pass up the chance to use it.
