A few highlights from May -- a month of theatrical events and celebrations.
Mabel was in the school talent show singing How Far I'll Go. Singing it, at her own instance, a-ca-freaking-ppella (seriously, this child has nerves of steel).
Bill and Mabel made me a breakfast in bed of Arizmendi cornmeal and dried cherry scones for Mother's Day and it was a thing of beauty.
Bill and I stayed at Inn at the Presidio for our 13th wedding anniversary weekend. Our room was those four windows along the front, behind the flags. Just, wow.
We saw The Color Purple and it was tremendous. The production and the acting were great, but it was singing that was a gosh darn revelation.
