there are six colors
of lights on the tree
red green yellow
orange blue purple
but when you take its
photo they all look blue
there are these silver
shoes you can wear to
the holiday party but
when you look down
they’ll look white or
gray or some neutral
oh well you know
what they say about
the hazy shades of winter
