More Polaroids, This Time Ruined

Regular readers will perceive that I'm on something of a Polaroid kick right now--in addition to my own weekly Monday Polaroid posts, I talked about these dreamy images on Tuesday, and today I want to bring you some other Polaroids that are very much a horse of a different color. William Miller takes advantage of old cameras that don't always work the way they were meant to any more and deteriorating film stock to create his Ruined Polaroid series. And let me tell you, these fit perfectly into some sort of oddly-shaped happy receptors my personal brain--they basically combine everything I love about Polaroids with everything I love about Abstract Expressionism. Heady stuff.
Hope you enjoy too, and have a very happy Friday. xo b
