what the heck beautiful color are
these sweet peas from my friend?
though pink is the obvious
answer they’re not really
maybe more
a faded red?
maybe coral? no
or raspberry? no
if pale red a color unto
itself separate from pink
then that’s what they are
if not it remains a mystery
